Holiday and Sunday Work Restrictions

 

The Leicester Police Department has received a number of inquiries and complaints pertaining to Sunday and holiday work restrictions.   Massachusetts law authorizes certain work and also restricts and prohibits certain types of work on Sunday’s and holidays.    To find out what type of work is/is not permitted on a holiday you can link to the Massachusetts Secretary of States Legal Holiday guidelines at http://www.sec.state.ma.us/cis/cishol/holidx.htm
